Welcome to the DIAverse

For about two years, my website was a template with my name on it. The testimonials were from “Daniel Lewis” and “Jessica Miller”. I have never met Daniel Lewis. My “services” section proudly offered professional photography. I do not own a camera.

So I burned it down and rebuilt it. Welcome to the DIAverse. 💜

What’s in here

• A blog (you’re reading it). Posts are plain Markdown files, so writing one is as easy as writing a README.
• Projects that sync from my GitHub every day, so this page never goes stale.
• A sticker board on the home page with my local time, my GitHub activity, and a harmonica you can actually play.
• A command menu. Press Ctrl + K anywhere. Then type brute-force. You’re welcome.
• Secrets. I’m not telling you how many.

How it’s built

The stack is deliberately boring where it matters and fun where it doesn’t:

Every post has a growth stage, an idea I borrowed from digital gardens:

• 🌳 Evergreen: done, I stand behind it

This post is 🌿 because I’ll keep adding to it as the site evolves.

Why “DIAverse”?

My GitHub bio has said “We are not apart in DIAverse” for years, and my old site’s title was “May Brute-Force be with you”. Both felt more like me than any template ever did. So this site is built around them: playful, a bit nerdy, and very purple.

If your portfolio could belong to anyone, it isn’t really yours.
